The picture below is most probably Group Captain Burling at the helm with his dog on the deck beside him. Spero now a Bermuda rigged cutter with bowsprit. 1930s? The Group Captain owned Spero for 40 plus years........
....... most of it in the The Scilly Isles SW England. This picture could have been taken in the late sixties or early seventies. She's still a cutter but without a bowsprit.
